If you are not going to do your homework, you will not be able to do our speaking exercises with your fellow students in our classes. How much time are you going to spend on your homework? I can speak English well. 5. Do you know the difference between 'Your' and 'You’re'? Even native English speakers often make mistakes with these two words.Your is a possessive – it means something belongs to you. Example: your name, your car, your house.The word you’re is short for 'you are'. Example: you’re beautiful, you’re smart, you’re welcome. You’re means 'You are'. Your means 'You possess something'. You’re means beautiful, smart, welcome. Your is a possessive. You’re is short for You are. Your are is long for You are. You’re means You smart. Your means Your are name. 6. Our courses are designed for highly educated people. Having a higher education degree is not an absolute must, but please take into account that our courses are not suitable for slow learners. How would you rate your speed of learning? Learning is a problem for me. Learning has never been a problem for me. I am an average learner. I am a pretty quick learner. I have difficulty learning new things. Below average. 7. Here are two reviews of our students: "The lessons were really nice. I really liked the way of teaching. However, the course is quite intensive and demands a lot of time for homework". "Docents are very qualified and focused on make you learn as fast as possible. The lessons are well structured and the website is full of examples to continue improving. I particularly enjoyed the recipes. It was like cooking with Dutch language. I have already joined A2. One suggestion: because it is a very intensive course, join only if you have high motivation." This is what I am looking for! This is not suitable for me. 8. We offer only intensive courses which consist of two parts: Dutch classes with our Dutch teacher and our e-learning (homework). What do you expect from our intensive course? I want to learn a lot in the classes. I do not want to do any homework at home. I want to learn a lot in short period of time in the class and by meself. I only have to visit all classes. I do not have to do anything else outside of the classroom. 9. How would you rate your computer skills? I always have difficulties using a computer. I use a computer every day. Bad. I do not use a computer much in my life. Using a computer is always a problem for me. I use a computer in my daily life and at work. Good. No problem. 10. What is your opinion on your teacher? He explains. I am interrupting him. He teaches me. I am talking to my fellow student. He teaches me. I am listening very carefully. 11. How do you deal with difficult challenges? I get frustrated or show my frustration. I face them with a curious attitude and I try to solve them. I give up. 12. Do you have enough time and motivation to learn Dutch language? Yes! I am sure! Im not sure now. I need to think about it. 13. If you fail a test, what is the first thought that goes through your mind? It is not my fault. The school program should be much better. The school is not good. They did not teach (me) very well! I've been doing really well on this course, it won't affect me much. Well, next time I'll try harder. Stupid teacher. I immediately delete all other emails. 21. What is a browser? It is a computer program for the internet. It is another tool for a Window. It is a company which brews beer. It is a computer virus from the internet. It is a kind of a book. It is a tool to comb brows. 22. Have you ever created a new account on any website? I do not know. Someone usually creates accounts for me. Yes, I have. No problem! I always need help with new accounts. 23. What do you do when you can not log in to your email account? I immediately contact the support helpdesk. I always need/want help. I try to reset my password and try solve it by myself first. 24. We have more than 250 students each year. We want to keep our fees low. That is why we do not have any customer service agent to answer your questions. Our course fees are based on Dutch lessons provided by our teachers. It means that you will have to find your way through our website by yourself. All information needed for our course is already provided on our website and will be provided by email. You just need to read it and follow it. We will also give you a short explanation about our website during the first lesson. You can always ask your fellow students to help you when you get stuck. If you can not find your way on our website by yourself or you have a custom request, you can always book a personal support appointment with us (it is not free!). We will be glad to help you with your inquiry. It does not suit me. I do not want to read any information. I always need the help of someone. Yes, I understand and agree with this. I will read all necessary information provided on your website and by email. 25. How often do you read your email? 1 time per week. I do not like reading emails. 2-3 times per week. Not really important to read it often. Every day. I do not want to miss anything. 26. Do you answer all of your emails when it is asked? Yes, I do! I find it very important to give a reply. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. If they really need me, they can call me or send me a letter. Not a big deal. No, not really. 27. We do not use established teaching methods from others. We have our own unique method. What are your expectations of our way of teaching? I expect you to let me read a text from a book and translate it word for word for me and do listening exercises in every lesson (these are not priorities in our courses; we expect you to get busy listening and reading Dutch yourself).
